Check subscription status before deleting a food app

Find the company billing your food app, follow the relevant cancellation route and verify the result before treating deletion as finished.

If your goal is to stop future subscription charges, removing an app icon is not a reliable completion check. Handle the billing record first, then decide whether to keep the app on your device. This matters whether you are clearing phone storage, switching food tools or simply ending a trial.

First identify who handles the subscription

Open your receipt or subscription record and identify the billing provider. A phone's operating system alone does not prove how an earlier purchase was billed. For example, an imaginary shopper who now uses Android might still have a subscription purchased through an Apple account on an old device. Checking only the new phone would leave the original question unanswered.

Keep a short private record with the app name, billing provider and account used for the purchase. You do not need to copy a full payment-card number into that record. If you cannot identify the subscription, resolve the account or receipt mismatch before assuming it has ended.

Take the route that matches the bill

For an Apple-billed subscription on iPhone, open Settings, select your name, then Subscriptions. Choose the relevant subscription and use its cancellation option. Apple's current instructions also explain that a missing Cancel button or an expiration message in red means it is already canceled; the same page covers other devices and missing subscriptions.

For Google Play billing, open the subscription in Google Play, select Cancel subscription and finish the instructions. Google explicitly states that uninstalling does not cancel a subscription. Read the resulting status and end date. Its guidance also distinguishes ordinary cancellation from payment plans that can leave remaining committed payments.

What counts as a finished check?

What you observeWhat to do next
The app is gone from the home screenCheck the billing record; this says nothing by itself about renewal.
A confirmation screen or subscription status shows cancellationSave the displayed status and effective date privately.
You cannot find the subscriptionMatch the receipt to the account and billing provider before concluding there is nothing to cancel.
You also want money returnedUse the provider's separate refund process; do not treat cancellation as a refund confirmation.

This checklist is complete when you can explain the current billing status and any stated remaining access or payment obligation. The exact result depends on the offer and platform rules, so do not replace the displayed date with an assumption that everything ends immediately.

If you decide to return later

The official Ingredi AI App Store page and Ingredi AI Google Play page are the download routes to revisit. Before accepting a new offer, check the earlier subscription record so you understand what access you already have. This guide helps you verify a billing action; it does not claim that your particular subscription has been canceled.
