Check label-app readability at your preferred text size before paying

Use a repeatable large-text checklist for results, units and purchase terms, with supported-app limits and untested Ingredi outcomes made explicit.

A result is useful only if you can read its numbers, units and qualifications comfortably. Before choosing a paid plan, inspect the app at the text size you actually use. Enlarging one headline is not enough if the serving basis or subscription terms disappear below it.

Set your preferred size, then test the real task

Apple's font-size guide describes Settings, Display & Brightness, Text Size. For larger options, it points to Accessibility, Display & Text Size, Larger Text. The feature applies to apps that support Dynamic Type, and Apple notes that very large text can affect access to controls. Menu wording depends on your software version.

These settings do not establish Ingredi's support. Use the same checks on your own device and record what you see. On another platform, start with that device's official text-size instructions; the observation checklist below is independent of the setting's name.

Check complete lines and reachable actions

Screen elementQuestion to answer
ResultCan you read the nutrient name, amount, unit and serving basis together?
ExplanationDo qualifiers wrap visibly instead of being cut off?
NavigationCan you reach Back, Close and the intended next action?
Purchase informationCan you read the amount, billing period and terms before confirming?

For an invented test case, a result might show 240 mg while its per-serving line is clipped. Record that specific problem: the quantity is visible but its basis is not. Do not mark the entire screen readable just because the large number looks clear. Conversely, a longer page that scrolls successfully is different from text hidden behind a fixed button.

Keep the comparison repeatable

Use one ordinary label and the same screen before and after changing text size. Note the device, app version, operating-system version and selected size. If screenshots are useful, exclude account and health details. You can also record a short description without sharing an image.

Test the size you prefer rather than forcing the smallest setting to make the layout fit. If a needed screen is unavailable without payment, mark it not tested and ask the developer about that screen. Do not purchase solely to complete this worksheet.

This is a practical readability check, not an accessibility certification or a screen-reader assessment. It reports no tested Ingredi outcome.

Open Ingredi AI's App Store listing or Google Play listing to review current access and try available screens. Choose a paid plan only after the relevant features, terms and reading experience meet your own needs.
