Prepare a useful food-app support report with only the necessary evidence
Draft a reproducible support note with device and app context, a precise error and a checked attachment, without sending credentials or private health details.
A useful support request describes one reproducible problem and the outcome you expected. You do not need to attach your whole photo library or full health history to explain that a label image will not open. Prepare a local draft first, then decide which evidence the developer actually needs.
Choose the verified support destination
Apple's developer-contact guide points to App Support on the app's store page. Google Play's instructions likewise use the listing's App support section and recommend naming the app, describing the issue precisely and stating the response you want. Store layouts can change, so use the support section displayed for the correct app.
Keep a report about image input separate from a refund or purchase dispute. This template is for a technical problem and does not require a receipt, payment details or an account password.
Fill in a short local template
- App and version: copy the version you can verify, or write unknown.
- Device and operating system: model and software version, without a serial number.
- Task: what you were trying to do with an ordinary label.
- Steps: the shortest sequence that produces the issue.
- Expected and actual result: describe both, preserving the error wording.
- Conditions: relevant permission and connection state, if checked.
- Requested help: one clear question about resolving or understanding the issue.
For a fictional draft, you might write: after choosing one label photo, the preview stays blank; I expected the chosen image to appear; repeating the action with another ordinary package gives the same blank preview. Use this wording only if those are your actual observations. Otherwise replace it with what happened, including whether the second attempt was not made.
Check the attachment separately
Create a share copy that retains the relevant interface and label context. Remove unrelated notifications, email addresses and personal notes from the visible image. Do not include passwords, verification codes, recovery information or full health records.
Visible redaction is only one check. Apple's photo-metadata guidance provides location review and sharing controls for Photos. Inspect the actual prepared attachment and its available information, because cropping does not by itself establish that location data has been removed.
Read the finished draft as if you were the developer: can you identify the task, reproduce the steps and understand the question? Keep uncertainty explicit. Preparing this template does not send a message or establish a response time.
To find the current Ingredi AI listing and its support route, use the App Store or Google Play. You can also review its available features there before downloading or choosing a plan; no purchase is needed merely to prepare a clear question.
